A: Suncrest PEAKS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit created to reduce the mental health burden of public safety work. We help Indiana first responders access support through four focus areas: financial support for care, education and awareness, agency consultation and training, and family and retiree support.d an answer to this item.


  

A: Suncrest PEAKS uses Suncrest Psychological Services as our Preferred provider, Suncrest Psychological Services specializes in first responders.  Suncrest PEAKS exists to fill gaps when cost, limited budgets, or access barriers prevent first responders from getting timely care.


  

A: Suncrest PEAKS is built for first responders and public safety professionals. This includes police, fire, EMS, dispatch, corrections, and related support staff. When possible, we also support families and retirees.


  

A: Support can include funding to reduce out-of-pocket costs for counseling, help connecting to appropriate services, and training or education that strengthens wellness at the individual, family, and agency level.


  

A: Suncrest PEAKS is not a therapy practice. We help remove barriers and connect people to qualified support. When counseling is the best fit, we refer to our preferred providers at Suncrest Psychological Services, who specialize in first responders.


A: Yes. We can help coordinate resources after major events. Depending on the situation, this may include group support options, education, or connections to qualified clinicians for structured critical incident interventions.


A: Email or call, and tell us what you need in plain terms. If you are an agency leader, you can also request help for your team after a difficult incident.  A: Not unless you ask us to involve your department or you request a department-based service. If you reach out as an individual, we treat your request as private and only share details with your written permission, unless safety or reporting laws apply.


A: We treat all outreach as private. If your support involves clinical services, confidentiality follows professional standards and legal requirements. If you are in immediate danger, call 911 or your local crisis line.


A: You can donate, sponsor programming, or partner with us as a business or community group. Donor support helps keep funding local and helps first responders access care when budgets fall short.
